need help with action

Hi!

I need help with ideas for action for CAS! Im a junior, and have ideas for creativity and service, but need ideas for action. I don't do sports, im in yearbook club at school, but dont plan on joining clubs at school! can you please give me a bunch of ideas that could count for ACTION?!

According to the CAS handbook that my school issued me, (Although, this may vary from your school somewhat)

action includes physical activities, training for Service hours, and carrying out creative and service projects (Rather than planning them for creativity)

Also, you really don't have to worry about doing sports. You can go to the gym, take long (At least half a mile) walks around your neighborhood for "physical" action hours. Just make sure to get an advisor to sign off on it, and to have proof that you said what you did.

I'm a junior too...I'm trick or treating for UNICEF with a few of my friends. Theres also some awesome walks for charities which can be used interchangably for service too. You can help elementary school gym teachers by volunteering there...again service too...hope that helps

Joining the CCAs which are sport-related? Building a library in a suburb (counts for A and S)? Dance? Picking trashes along the street (counts for A and S)? Walk-a-thon (some kind of night marathon to raise fund)? There are a lot. Read the "What are your CAS activities" thread, should give you more ideas.
