Dr. Polaris
Not sure if every school's the same, but for Biology, we will learn the basic things needed to be learnt, but I guess we have 2 main topics we will be focusing on extensively?Anyways, I was wondering if anyone here had to choose like 2 topics out of around 8 or 9 to learn about. We're doing Neurobiology and Ecology, the latter only to get higher marks because the teacher said it was easier. So, anyone had to choose like one or two topics to focus on? Sandwich
Everybody doing HL Biology has to do 2 of the Option topics. For SL you have a slightly smaller choice of topics and only have to do 1, but it's still compulsory to do an Option. The topics you pick form the basis of all of Paper 3 The Neurobiology one is a good choice, I actually found it quite interesting. Can't say the same for Ecology though Slow mental death by boredom. When I did it, I did Further Human Physiology as my other option. It was alright, but I preferred the Neurobiology and Behaviour one. Reply
