Julien44
I have a question related to an EE question proposed by a student. To what extent was the early 21st century limited housing access of the Black community in South Africa a long-term consequence of the 1950s discriminating acts passed during the period of Apartheid? The answer would be yes, those acts / the policy of apartheid has impact on it, it still influences the South African society, however, there are other aspects (TBD which ones) impacting this lack of access to housing. My questions & comments: Do you think it is a viable question? My worries: is it “historical enough” (we on purpose mention “early 20th century” in the question to make sure we do not cover anything less than 1o years from today) Is the topic historical enough as she will talk about the apartheid but also about potential other aspects impacting the access to housing that may be a bit less historical? Any suggestion regarding any other question related to apartheid? Thanks in advance for the support. Reply
