Kiwim
Hiii, I am going to start working on my ee starting this semester (probably in a couple of weeks) and I know I can't use a book we've studied or are going to study/analyze in class, but I was wondering if I can use a book that is a retelling, readaptation by a different author, or inspired from a classic novel. I have a few books that I want to read/do my extended essay on, but I haven't made my mind up yet because of this question. Appreciate the help! ImDoingThisForCollege
You can probably use any book but the thing that matters is your research question about the book. Your research question has to stay within the scope of English and language arts so something like motifs and other literary symbols in the book you want to research would work.
