Guest The X
I've been writing an Extended Essay in Physics, and have been working with the local Defence Research Establishment on a 2.1 um Ho:YAG laser. We've been determining how the thermal effects in the laser affect its beam. The only problem: I didn't have any idea on what the result was going to be.How the heck am I supposed to write a thesis? (which I only found out due to this guideline). And the deadline is on Wednesday. But do I really need one? Or have I misinterperated the definition of thesis? Reply
Guest SkewYou
I guess what they mean by a thesis is a hypothesis. So what you could do is base your hypothesis on research done previously. Or you just predict something and explain why you think that will happen. But to answer your question, you MUST have a hypothesis if not you will get less marks. Reply
