I'm currently writing a proposal for English B and the topic of EE would be "Normal people" by Sally Rooney, more precisely power display in the book. I have 2 possible research question and need help to figure out which one is more fitting and significant. The two options are: 1) How does Rooney use Connell and Marianne to display different kinds of power (societal, economical) in “Normal people” and at what point can the reader notice power shift in her book? 2) How does difference in power (economical and societal) affect Connell and Marianne’s relationship?
