My teacher keeps telling me writers craft and author's purpose. I understand writers craft. BUT WHAT IS AUTHOR'S PURPOSE?!? Please help! What's the message they're trying to get across? What is the point of them doing what they're doing? What's their intention? What kind of response from the reader does the author want?
