Eternalx
I don't know much, but you can try something in politics? law? books? In some books the reader's mind is being manipulated into agreeing with the writer. Maybe? Reply
Hedron123
Well, if you are going to talk about the Media, you can say that they distort facts (sensationalism) to make it attention-grabbing & attractive so as to enhance ratings / sales. This process does not only render facts unreliable but gives you a shallow / incomplete view of what takes place. That is how it misleads you to think about things that may not be true. If you have time you can watch the movie "Mad City" featuring John Travolta & Dustin Hoffman and you'll be able to get more ideas. Another broad idea that you could use is the fact that power / money misleads people into doing things that are immoral or unethical. If you want to do some research, google Botnia (these are plants which treat cellulose in order to make paper). Here you would be dealing with the issues of Jobs vs Pollution, Profits vs Damaging the environment / public health, etc. I hope that my ideas help you to carry out a good presentation. G'luck!
