Archaic Dreamer 752 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 Hey everyone, i'm currently a newbie, about half way into my first year of IB and just joined ib survival. Anyway, i was hoping to do an economics EE (some ppl think its boring, i know) cos i'm pretty good at the subject, find it interesting, and with the election of Obama and the financial crisis it seems the happenin thing. we haven't really been told anything about the EE formally from our school yet, but i thought i'd get some ideas goin. what i was planning on was perhaps some sort of investigation or comparison between different major financial crisis in history, the economic state of the countries prior to it, mistakes leading to the crisis, recovery, etc i.e. similarities between the great depression and collapse of the soviet union (not that i know any, just sayin). Any suggestions on if this is a good idea? should i broaden it? make it more concise? any and all suggestions and comments are appreciated.
