Chem IA Voltaic Cell Help

I am trying to figure out what my IA experiment is going to be, I know I want to do something with voltaic cells. I was thinking that I could manipulate the charge of the ions used and see how the electricity generated changes but my teacher said that it wouldn't work very well and would result in a weak IA. I am struggling to figure out what else I could manipulate, so far I have been thinking that I could use various concentrations of the ions used or temperature at which the reaction occurs but it seems like I would have the same problem, too simplistic. Does anyone have any suggestions on what my manipulated variable could be? Could I maybe combine temperature and concentration?
