Physics_world
Hi! I would like to ask you if students should know which particles will take place in a reaction. Also, should someone know how to make a Feynman diagram or it is ok just to recognise the kind of reaction in a given Feynman diagram? Thank you very much! Reply
Lord of the Pickles
I am doing this unit right now. We should be able to know which particles are in a reaction I believe only with radioactive decay (alpha, beta plus, beta minus, and gamma). Or if an incomplete equation is shown, we are expected to follow the conservation of baryon number, conservation of lepton number, and conservation of charge to find the missing particle(s). We are expected to know how to make Feynman diagrams from descriptions. Reply
