Is my IA topic appropriate for an HL class?

As the title says, I was wondering if my IA is appropriate.

My research question would be something along the lines of: How does temperature affect the rate of reaction between sodium bicarbonate and acetic acid.

My process for this would be measuring the gas produced via a gas pressure sensor (I believe these measure volume of gas produced as well, if I'm wrong please correct me - although I think I can calculate volume with just pressure as well). Once I have a rate, I can further my analysis by graphing the activation energy.

However, I have a few worries. 1. Is this lab too simple? 2. Should I rephrase my question so it relates to activation energy? 3. Will this lab actually work? and finally 4. I can't for the life of me find any literature value on this reaction, will this be a big problem for my evaluation?
