aphan9
My school's topic is on how to make our school "greener".So my group four project is about testing different types of insulation for like buildings. My group decided on it and we never learned about thermal dynamics yet in physics; however, we have a some knowledge about it. We decided to test materials such as newspaper and like sawdust. (need some more insulaiton ideas)We came up with a plan of making a box with insulation on the inside and measuring the temperature or something. I'm sorry that its not descriptive , but I don't really know what my grouped planned. So could you guys help me?Any suggestion or ideas for our project would be greatly appreciated.Thank you so much in advance Edited September 16, 2007 by aphan9 Reply
cixelsyD
Maybe you can get a few boxes, wrap each one in a type of insulator and put an ice cube in each box. Put the box in a place at room temperature and check to see which ice cube melts the fastest/slowest, in other words, u'll be making tiny coolers =P Edited September 17, 2007 by cixelsyD 1 Reply
