inshm2016
Hi, I chose title number 4: ’Without application in the world, the value of knowledge is greatly diminished.’’ Consider this claim with respect to two areas of knowledge.''I am writing about how knowledge can have an intellectual or cultural value, and that the value of knowledge does not diminish without a practical application. One of my examples is the discovery of the Higgs boson. Till now, this discovery has not put to a practical use, but it was still so appreciated that it was awarded the nobel prize. Now, my biggest concern is counterclaims. I feel I have a lot of examples to bring up, but no counterclaims. How would you guys recommend coming up with counterclaims. What could for example a counterclaim to my comment that the discovery of the higgs particle satisfy an intellectual value be? Reply
