mikefeng15
My Lang & Lit written task is on Part 2: Language and Mass communication-How language is used to manipulate and persuade a target audience, specifically through bias. For this piece I thought of writing two football match reports on the same match, but from different origins. One would be a neutral well known and respected sports website, such as ESPN, while the other view would be from the club itself, which is always going to be a bit biased. My teacher said that I should think about just writing one match report, instead of two. Even though this will increase the amount of content I can put into it, I feel that having two match reports will really highlight the bias.
