bguloglu
For the US, won't you need to study anything at premed anyway? 1 Reply
IBidiot
At a US University, pre-professional programs, such as pre-med, don't really care at all what math you take. Really, the type of math you take may matter to a certain university as a whole (ex: Harvard versus a state college, private versus public most of the time). Does that make sense? In a university here, you'll be part of a program or major, and your academic advisor will help you get the actual maths and sciences that you need for an actual professional school, like med school. Honestly, it doesn't matter if you take Chem HL, Math HL, and Bio HL all at the same time. Med schools don't care. They will want you take chemistry, maths, and biology at a university anyway; so don't stress yourself now about it. Also consider this: if you're not good at math, medicine in the future may not play into your strengths! But medicine is more science than math, compared to say, a engineering path. harihrrnn
Most of the medical universities around the world accept people with math studies. One of my friend got into university of queen's mary london for medicine with math studies. So there will be no problem if you change from SL to studies.GOOD LUCK Reply
