imhyungjooo
Hello I am a South Korean student. I recently went into an italian schooland I am taking the IB diploma at maybe... November in 2016. I am really concerned about language problems because you know,as I am a Korean student, my mother tongue language is Korean and Ispeak English too. However, my school doesn't offer Korean classes,so I was just planning to do English as my first language and Italian as my second language because my school only teaches English and Italianas a second language class... I may take the AB initio class for Italian but,you know that we have to take the standard level test for Italian no matterwhat class I am in. I am curious that whether its able to self tutor Korean for the IB test as my1st language and take the English test as my 2nd language. As my school doesn't offer Korean classes, it is inevitable for me to take The English class for my 1st language and Italian as my 2nd in high school. I'm curious ifit is able to take different subjects for the high school classes and the IB. Sorry for my bad English... I hope I can find an answer here :-) Reply
ibprincess
it is possible to do a self taught language, i don't really know about the specifics of it but i believe you need to work with a tutor? your ib coordinator should be able to tell you the details about it Reply
