Calculator - quick question

It does depend on what course you're doing, but generally the advanced TI models will be discouraged, at least in the UK. They generally require a calculator that can't store text or data other than your last calculations. It's because they don't want you to cheat from these... and they can't check if every single calculator is cleared prior to the exam.

On the other hand, it's rare that anybody cares if your calculator is of the "banned" type, so if you really don't want to change yours, you can risk.

I bought myself a simple Casio, although it took me a while to get used to it.
