I am writing my TOK essay & having lots of fun - I love this subject However I am having a problem with defining one of the key words that appear on the question: 'models'. I want to know if I can stick to one definition that works for some areas (i.e. ethics, religion, arts) but doesn't really work for other areas that are not mentioned in the essay (science, maths). Can I narrow down the question choosing some areas of knowledge, and therefore choosing a rather restrictive definition - or my "thesis" and definitions have to be more general and work for everything?Can you get wrong a definition in TOK and get low marks because you "misinterpreted the question"?
