TrapGodAdrian
I am a sophomore going into IB next year and can't decide which would be a better fit for me. California resident and i'm currently in Pre-Calculus. I average B's and C's on test and am currently standing with a B-. I plan on studying Molecular Biology or some sort of life science in University because I want to eventually become a doctor. So feel free to give me any suggestions Reply
Guest B.E.P.
AP Calculus AB will me much harder than Math Studies SL. Also, in the US, no one will give credit to Math Studies SL. I would recommend that you do AP Calculus AB if you can - it'll help you escape some calculus classes in university, which would be helpful for you if you're going to go into premed, because you want to get as many of the "gen ed" classes out of the way so they don't affect your GPA. behaaa
Most universities don't accept maths studies, especially for medical degrees. You should definitely stick with AP Calculus, or take on HL level math if you feel like you are up for it. Both are challenging, but the rewards are great.
