is creating a time management app a good idea for ITGS IA?

Okay.. I have thought of a kazillion things for my itgs IA, but they got turned down by itgs teacher because he thought some were too complex for me to do, so generally not a good idea. 

And since its only 20% percent of my final grade, since I do HL, he doesnt want HL students to spend so much time on it.

Anyways, I was just wondering if a time management app would be a good idea.

I cant talk to him again because criteria A is due very soon, so I wont be seeing him any time today or tomorrow and its literally due after tomorrow. 

So what do you guys think? 

I mean to me it sounds pretty good. But im not sure.

Also, I was thinking that my client should be my sister since she has exams coming up soon, and she really needs to manage her time, so this would prove useful to her.

I would also include things like checklists and schedules on my app?

Anymore ideas of things I could include???

And also please tell me what you think on whether I should do this for my IA or not.
