Jae Won
Hey guys, my FOA is based on the relationship between Shakespearian language and rap language. What are your thoughts on this? Reply
Blackcurrant
Sounds interesting. Go right ahead. What is your thesis? Edited October 5, 2014 by Blackcurrant Reply
Jae Won
Sounds interesting. Go right ahead. What is your thesis? So basically, I'm writing about how rap should be treated and respected the same way as Shakespeare's sonnets. Specifically, I will look at the rhythm - iambic pentameter, para linguistic features - OP, and a extract analysis of Tupac Ghetto Gospel and Shakespeare's sonnet 23. The bigger picture is that history is repeating itself, yet we are still fear change even though it's inevitable that everything pursues change. 2 Reply
Blackcurrant
That's quite original. Daring even. I am sure your teacher and class will enjoy this. Just make sure your analysis is a juicy one and give it more time to it than any larger claims. Though these are definitely worth mentioning. They will be your dash of salt at the end.
