selmslampard
We got an assignment to buy an English newpaper when we were on a school trip to London, and use an article or something in the newspaper as our base for the written task 1. I found this article called "Is this the day the UK dies?", and it mentions Brown's speech and so on. What I was thinking was that I'd write an op-ed (opposite the editorial) as Brown where I discuss the negative consequences of Scotland becoming independent. If there were any doubts, the subject I am taking is English A Language and Litterature. Now, my question is if I actually have to directly mention something from the curriculum in the task, or if it's enough to use for example rhetorical devices?
