spacescampi
Hello IBers! I'm in my last year of IB now, and I am getting really frustrated because I have no idea what I want to study after. The thing is that most of the majors I want to study require physics, i.e. pharmacy (at least in Norway), industrial management, odontology... If I choose to go for one of those mentioned, I will need to study physics after IB, meaning I will take a gap year. However, I've heard that universities in the US for instance do not like students who have had gap year (unless it is for a good reason). I guess what I was wondering about is does it really matter if I take a gap year only to study physics according to the Norwegian syllabus? If I get lower grades than expected in Math and Chem, I would retake the subjects too, hehe Edited August 21, 2014 by spacescampi Reply
