The IB does not care what referencing style you use, as long as it's a recognized one and you use it consistently throughout your paper (that means don't use MLA for half of it and Chicago for the other half). Pick whichever you are most familiar with and use it. I used MLA in my EE and got an A. 2. Picking a time frame and/or location for Impressionist paintings (early period from X-Y, late impressionist from Q-R, impressionism in Xth century country of your choice) would be the best way to narrow this down a little more. Then focus on prominent artists in the period of your choice and compare them with some of Delacroix's more influential pieces. 3. Museum curators are good.
