When a one-room apartment in urgent need of renovation and without toilet is sold for 200000 British Pounds, the petrol prices are the most expensive in the world and food prices are also some of the most expensive in the world, then I would argue that Norway is not very cheap. I've been looking for an affordable apartment (anything from one-room would be fine) for a long time now, but unless you're willing to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a few m2 and get really lucky, you'll find nothing that's even close to satisfying.
