Hi, i am meant to be starting ib on Monday morning which is in a few days from now. I have chosen to take HL - Economics, English Lit and Psychology and SL Maths, italian ab and ESS

Basically my problem is i really don't want to take ESS as i don't really feel as i will do well nor will i enjoy it. However my college is only offering visual arts SL instead of it. My art skills aren't fantastic but i have heard that my teacher is fantastic, my question is how hard is Visual Arts and should i consider doing it?

Thank you for taking the time to read this post :)

I don't like arts either but I got really a good taste of it ( in other words bad taste) while doing it for CAS. It does not restrict itself to drawing but to learn stuff like cubism and other complicated theories, need to draw by looking at objects, you need a lots patience and you need to sure that the paints does not get dried up, sit for hours and draw until you reach perfection ( even our school has good art teacher and she has the worst temper. Once I got a good shouting because I displaced a spoon kept on table accidentally :D . Better take ESS. Arts requires hard work and talent and ESS you just need to study.
