Faruk
Hi guys So, I just finished my IB1, and, well I have to start with the whole thing with universities. I did not get my predicted yet, but it will be in the range from 33-36 without TOK,EE,CAS. My subjects are HL: physics, bosnian, english B; SL: math, chemistry, economics. I am mainly focused on engineering, something between oil engineering or mechanical, but I am also interested in film&video production. So, to come to the question, I am interested in, how should I start the search for universities?I know for the Shelby Davis scholarships, but they mainly cover US, and I would really like to go to europe (although i am not able to pay for my uni')Is there a list of universities that offer engineering, and that are located in us+canada/europe?That's pretty much all for now, I hope I'll get some usefull info. GirlwiththeBlueBox
Here are a couple websites you might find useful:http://www.petersons.com/college-search.aspxhttps://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/college-searchhttp://www.university-world.com/Europe-Universities.htmlI started looking at universities at college fairs and by talking to representatives at those fairs. You could narrow down your search by researching prominent engineering universities in each of the regions you were interested in. Hope this helped! Sandwich
University rankings are useful as well. Look up your subject in those and then check out the top Universities (assuming you're aiming high!). 1 Reply
Faruk
Thanks, I'll go through these pages! Unfortunately here at UWC Mostar we had just 1-2 college visits, so it's not really good to rely on them. Reply
