That being said I failed.My question is.If I get 22 marks for my History IA--- 20% of overall grade21 Marks For Paper 1----------------20% of overall grade32 Marks For Paper 2.....................25% of overall grade32 Marks For Paper 3.....................30% of overall gradeWhat is my overall grade? However, I think that P3 is only for HL and will therefore grade accordingly.Please remember that the grade boundaries for this years exam are not yet official. Therefore I will use the Grade Boundaries of May 2010, making your result able to fluctuate.The IA is out of 25. Therefore 2/25= 84%, which would give you 17.6% of the total mark.P1: 21/25= 84%--> 16.8% (+17.6%= 34.4%).P2: 32/40= 80%--> 20% (+34.4%= 54.4%)P3: 32/60= 53.3%->16% (+54.4%= 70.4%)70.4% is then rounded to 70%, which in 2010 meant an IB7.The grade boundary in 2010 for IB7 was 67%-100%.Additionally, judging by the grade boundary for Paper 3, you are not the only one who "failed". Actually, you achieved a very high IB5 with 32 points, only missing one additional point for an IB6 on paper 3. Furthermore, the grade boundary of 2010 for P3 is very low, being 39 out of 60 points for an IB7.Although these boundaries tend to change, History is not a subject that is known for its immense fluctuations (e.g. Math or Sciences).
