Guest ragdoll
Does anyone know of any good books on The Arab-Israeli Conflict or The Cold War topics? We already have the Oxford 20th century world history course companion book but our teacher says that it isn't very good. So do you have any other recommendations? blenderer
For Cold War topics our history class used Pearson Baccalaureate's History: Cold War for the IB Diploma. I really liked the book, unlike many other history books it had COLOUR, and quite many pictures and graphs so it wasn't painful to read at all. As interesting as history is, those "walls of text" that so many history books are full of can really kill the interest... this book didn't. Warmly recommended. jmartini
For both of those topics I recently purchased the OSC IB revision guides. They can't stand on their own, but all the OSC revision guides are concise and detail much more than just the basics. Here is a link to their page: https://www.osc-ib.com/ib-revision-guides/default.asp Reply
