Dayumn IB
Ok so we know that a series circuit has one switch to control the whole circuit. What does it mean when the instructions say to draw a parallel circuit with 3 lamps and with one switch to control the whole circuit. WHat does it mean? Also, if a voltmeter is connected parallel to a lamp, does it mean that it a parallel circuit? Reply
Drake Glau
I'm assuming all 3 lamps and the cell are in parallel. You basically draw 3 boxes stacked up, put a lamp on each horizontal line and the cell in the top or bottom. Now for the switch to control the WHOLE thing, it needs to go on the side adjacent to the cell but should not go past the first parallel wire.Yes.
