How did you find the paper?

Which topic did you choose?

They were something along these lines:

1. Imaginative story - the prompt was a conversation

2. Article - the one with the picture of the 'car of the future'

3. Letter to the editor - after reading an article affirming that young people lacked initiative

4. Review of a video game

I didn't really feel inspired by any of the options so I wrote a lot less than i normally would. but it went okay (i chose the video game option...). which did you choose? I found the first option a bit strange, because i couldn't see exactly what they wanted out of it... but thinking about it now i guess it was actually quite open and could have been a good question to answer!

I chose topic three, I found that it suited me pretty well and I was able to come up with some examples. I found paper one pretty good overall, I thought the written response was straightfoward. Text C was the hardest I thought, I probably got some of the true/false justifications wrong.

I did the letter to the editor as well - wrote a load of rubbish that I'm not even sure was good french! I wasn't expecting to be too good there though, I have had the worst timetable ever!

I found paper 1 was alright, and the written part was literally just rewriting the article as a speech! I think I did alright, but we really won't know until January!!

I did the article about the car because I'd done lots of practice articles so I knew the text type really well and plus I couldn't remember how to sign of a formal letter soo yeah I found it pretty good.
