followyourheart
Trying to narrow down on a topic. Would the following research question be appropriate? To what extent were women's efforts successful in forming nineteenth-century France? (in relation to the French Revolution) It sounds a bit awkward, so I want to rearrange it but I'm not sure how without changing the general idea of it. Arrowhead
The question is misleading and upon first reading sounds very vague. Perhaps, "To what extent were women, and the roles they played, significant towards the creation of a French Republic in the 1790s?" OR "To what extent were women, and the roles they played, significant during the French Revolution?" Reply
