n0urhan Posted May 2, 2011 Report Share Posted May 2, 2011 Over the two years I have always responded to paper 1 questions through an essay but now I realized that there is nothing saying that I should!I would find it much easier to answer such questions in points rather than an essay. nuka Posted May 5, 2011 Report Share Posted May 5, 2011 i'm not sure whether you'd get penalized. because for biology at least, there are 2 extra marks given for presentation, so if it's not in paragraph form, and in a coherent order, then you lose those two marks.so continuing from that habit, i would still recommend to answer these questions in paragraph form even though the mark scheme doesn't explicitly state that you should.
