Resource Books for World Lit?

Hi,

I'm starting my World Lit Assignment 1 (which is about the 'setpiece' debates in Medea and Antigone, a comparison/analysis of them), but I'm not sure if other references (ie. research other than the 2 works) are required. My English teacher told me to just search through some Internet sites and write a draft based on what I already know. However, I've also been told that other references and books are required. I visited a university library and cast my eye around some other books, but there's nothing specifically relevant to my topic...so I'm worried whether or not I need a strong bibliography with lots of books...and that may be impossible. So I'd just like to know....should I start (and finish) my WL draft without the supporting material of other books (which would be hard to find), or try to search for more?

Any help would be appreciated.
