Guest lienka
Do you think it is very wrong/inconsistent to compare two works that are entirely different in everything but the topic i've chosen??I was thinking of doing Ian McEwan's Amsterdam as a single work (I had several topics there) but then I thought if the work isn't way too short/unknown for that, or the subject too narrow. So now I'm thinking of comparing the role of Molly Lane (Amsterdam) and Clarisse McClellan (Fahrenheit 451) on the plot/ the actions of the main characters. The thing is, both novels are way too different, the first being contemporary & satirical, the other futuristic, dystopic & philosophical. Do you think it is an advantage - attempting to find something in common in such diversity; or will it just seem that I took first two books I stumbled upon and just forcefully tried to find something to compare....Am stuck.Cheers Reply
