brian78
Hi, I have a question.I'm on my way to getting a 5 in HL Chemistry, I know it's not a great grade but getting a 6 is a bit of a stretch for me and I was wondering if a 5 could get me into any kind of biochemistry programme in university? I will probably be getting a 7 in HL Biology and a 6 in SL Math if that's any help at all. Thanks in advance. Reply
Le Flic
You should talk to your guidance counselor, there are still plenty of good schools you can go to with a "5" in chem.. but its difficult to "cover lost ground": if you feel you missed out then biochem might be difficult at uni. Concentrate on your strengths, and take whatever remedial courses are open to you. Where do you want to study? I find that you really need to accept your own abilities and accept what choices you have at uni, if you worry only about getting into the best program(me!) than you should re-evaluate your educational plan for the next years.
