LLLLYYYY
Hi, I am about to start writing my personal statement. However, I'm not sure how to start and what to include in my personal statement. I want to study law, and from what I heard, my PS should be focused on why I want to study law. For those of you who have been through this experience, can you please provide me with information regarding my PS? Thanks Reply
mac117
I'll tag @Gaby here... In my opinion you are starting your PS a bit too early! You have a long time before your application deadline (even if you apply to Oxbridge which requires an application before October 15), therefore a LOT will change before then. What you should do is write down points which you'd like to include, and see which ones are the most important roughly a month before the deadline. 1 Reply
Gaby
If you are indeed to graduate in 2018, as your profile says, then I second @mac117, it's waaaaaaay too early, and you'd be wasting your time even trying. It'd also help if you told us which country you're applying to. 1 Reply
LLLLYYYY
@mac117@Gaby Yeah, I know it's too early. But I'd love to start as early as possible (I don't know if that's wise or not) since I'm going to be busy after a couple of months and I think it would help to have a rough outline just to clear things up. i'm applying to the UK by the way.
