My sister studied Math HL, English Lang&Lit HL and Philosophy HL and got in to Oxford University to study Law. History would be useful, but it's absolutely not necessary. Gaby Posted September 23, 2015 Report Share Posted September 23, 2015 In the UK, you don't need any particular subject to apply for Law (though History, as an essay-based subject, can be useful). E.g. in the US, Law is a postgraduate degree. So it varies from country to country.
