Solarstorm
Thinking of doing a particle physics degree in University. Just wish to know, what opportunities does it provide for the future? I know i can get a PHD in it and teach, can be a part of some research program, and can publish books on the research i make. What other opportunities does it provide? Reply

This means that having a MSc or a PhD in Physics (and not say, economics) would close your doors to the business world. For example, the CEO of BMW has a PhD in nuclear physics, and he still runs one of the world's leading automobile corporations. Reply
