iber2011
I was wondering if there's a difference between Bsc ordinary degrees and Bsc honors degrees. Do people with honors degrees have more advantage? I tried to google but i was still confused! Reply
Sandwich
If I'm correct, BSc degrees are pass/fail whereas BSc (Hons) degrees are graded - so you can get a 1st, 2:1, 2:2, 3rd etc. It's an advantage to have a graded degree if you can get a good degree, especially a 2:1 or a 1st. This is in the UK. Reply
Proletariat
It seems like it might depend on the University? Honours courses at McGill are pretty much just a regular Major but supersized (54 credits instead of thirty-something). Honours students are also required to maintain a higher GPA, and write thesis paper(s). Reply
