Math IA - celestial navigation

Heya, so basically for my math IA I decided to make my own life hard and choose a topic like 'celestial navigation'. More specifically, I'm doing my paper on smthing along the lines of 'how to find your geographic location using celestial navigation'.

Soo, I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me out? I've found some resources but I'm still very confused on how to use them and stuff like that, so if anyone would be willing to lend me a hand, pls let me know as soon as you can, bc ya boi is running out of time due to my own procrastination.

Hi! Sorry, it's been a while since I've been on this site. I ended up doing a completely different topic after all, turns out linear regression is easier to teach yourself than celestial navigation haha, I wish you luck with your ia though!
