puttze
Hi! I was wondering how to approach my Math IA in regards to squash, a sport where a player hits a ball against a wall. I was thinking of calculating the serve of a player (me) in a 2D plane, using coordinates. Possibly contrasting two different serve types, overhand and underhand, and seeing how the ball travels in both scenarios. However, I am concerned about the physics involved in this, as I am not very comfortable diving very far into that. I am also looking for other ways I could investigate math in squash, If anyone has done an IA graphing the path of a ball/ or any object along a parabola, or If you have any tips, I would be grateful for any help For reference, I made this simple diagram to show what I am actually talking about Thanks in advance! Hi ! I am also doing this for my math IA, and can I ask you how it went? I also have a couple of questions to ask you regarding this Reply
