SpinningTop Posted January 27, 2022 Report Share Posted January 27, 2022 Hi. So, for my physics IA topic I was thinking of doing an experiment on spinning tops. Could I measure the force of my hand when it spins the top somehow? If I could I would keep that a constant variable. but if not, could i use an external force to cause the top to spin, like a beyblade uses? For my independent variable I was thinking of changing the size of the top. and dependent would be the amount of time the top spins. and my research question would be "How does changing the size of a spining top affect the amount of time it spins" How does this idea sound?
