Lauraxxxx Posted September 1, 2021 Report Share Posted September 1, 2021 Hey so im facing a little bit of a problem, i wanted to do my EE on the effects of different over counter antacids (stomach acid nullifiers) on the effectiveness of the enzyme pepsin in digestion of egg whites (the idea was that antacids will alter the PH of the simulated stomach acid resulting in decreased enzyme effective) but the more I reaserch on this the more lost I am. Do you guys think this idea is feasible/logical? if not is there any other variable I could use instead of antacids to investigate pepsin effectivity in digestion? any help would be greatly appreciated?
