IB history on hippie movement, need some help

Hey guys, hope everyone reading this is well. I need some help deciding on my official research question for the EE. I am quite behind on the EE because we have some deadlines coming soon and I have yet to research my topic and question because I cannot formulate a strong research question. My EE topic is on the Hippie movement (history) and my initial research question was "To what extent was the Hippie Movement successful in advocating against violence and war during the 1960s and 1970s?" but relooking at it and after doing some more research I am concerned it is a weak research question. My teacher also suggested that I make some clear differences between the hippie movement and the anti war movement or the other counter cultures at the time or else there would be a lot of bleed through with the information. I need some suggestions or tips on what I can do to either make my question better, or weather it is better to just pick a different topic entirely. My supervisor for the EE also left our school so currently I have no other way to reach out for help and would greatly appreciate any help or tips on this situation. Thank you so much !

Another research question that I was thinking was "To what extent was the Hippie Movement successful in challenging the traditional gender roles of men and women in American society during the 1960s and 1970s?" would this be a stronger topic to research

I believe "Another research question that I was thinking was "To what extent was the Hippie Movement successful in challenging the traditional gender roles of men and women in American society during the 1960s and 1970s?" would this be a stronger topic to research" would be stronger. I would recommend looking both of them up and seeing which one you can find the most information about, if you have the same amount of information, talk to your supervisor.
