Math AA HL IA ideas

I haev several ideas for a Math AA HL IA, but I'm not sure what application of these ideas I can use. I also take Physics, so I was thinking about doing something with differential equations in Physics.

- Taylor series

- Differential equations

- Integrating non continuous functions (such as 1/x)

- Different methods of solving the basel problem

 

I would prefer to do something that focuses on pure math instead of an application, but as I understand most IAs are applications of Math into the real world.
