Rowling's Harry Potter and Severus Snape over the course of the series. I wanted to compare and contrast the character development of both Harry Potter and Severus Snape, and how they both relate to the common theme of being the series' hero through different motifs. My research question is, "To what extent do J.K. Rowling's characterizations of Harry Potter and Severus Snape compare and contrast over the course of the series?"
