So, guys it s the last term for me and as the days passes on I am getting scared and feel like I am going to do really bad. Honestly speaking I think that I can do better but I just don't know how to start doing it. going to the main problem is that its nearly end of the year 11 for me and i need to give in my form for my subjects next year. i have to choose 3 HL subjects. here the problem is that i don't don't what subjects to choose as HL subjects. The subjects I do is maths, english (literature), chemistry, biology, psychology, spanish and the other three core subjects which is obvious. here i can't choose spanish as hl sine its not allowed to do so. so I claimed to choose 2/3 HL subjects which are biology and psychology. now coming to the third subjects, i am hella confused and don't even know what to do here. so basically the only subjects left is chemistry, maths, english. here tehse subjects i don't do well in them. maths i can learn but the time taken to learn is a lot. chemistry same as maths. with english the most i can do is i can analyse some what critical and write about as a current level (year 11) standard. soo guys out of these three subjects which one do you think i can cope and do well with if i choose that subject as my hl subject?

Hey, do you know what field you'd like to enter in the future (medicine, humanities, law...)?  If you're planning on going into medicine, I suggest you take Chemistry HL as well, and if you intend to go into a more essay-heavy profession (eg. law, humanities) then go with English HL. I heard that Maths HL is pretty intense, and that it's not recommended unless you plan on using it in your major (eg. programming, engineer, physicist etc.). Please consider that at the end of the two years, you will receive a total mark out of 45, with a maximum of 7 points per subject - so you also should consider what subject you would do better in so that it becomes easier for you to get a greater overall score.

I added the general IB course guides below for Maths (AA and AI since I'm not sure which one you're taking), Chem and Eng Lit., and if you scroll down you should see the differences and similarities in the SL and HL courses and the material they cover (you can compare this). Hopefully this will help :)
