loljustmeintheib
Hey! I'm heading to high school in the fall, (grade 9 now, going to 10.) I would have the option of doing a pre-IB year then my two DP IB years. But, I've heard endless stories about how hard IB is. But I've always found school not challenging. So, I've been considering if the program is worth it or not. I know it would pay off big time later down the road. But, I'm conflicted. I would probably do math analytics and assessing, lang a english, lang b french, history, art or film, biology and chemistry (or physics) Please let me know your general experience! Also any tips and tricks into success in the program! PS: (By program I mean contents of the courses and overall difficulty and workload.) folra
Honestly, it isn't too hard if you can manage your time well. I do physics now and I'm failing mainly because of my lack of interest for the subject so make sure to choose something you like. Only do the IB if you are genuinely ready to work hard. jestyr_13x2022
kinda summed it up with "Only do the IB if you are genuinely ready to work hard." hard but will pay off in future IF you do well. colleges and unis will look to see ur success in it not just the fact that u took the IB (do u understand) high risk high reward plenty of potential Reply
